54mm 17th Light Dragoons Added

The present circumstances have given me a little more time to spend on the hobby front.

I have recently started a 54mm AWI Campaign with my extensive collection.

I have been able t paint up and add a few more units. One of the main troop types I have missing are cavalry! No-one really makes 54mm AWI cavalry - unless you want to invest in the very expensive pre-painted metal ranges.

So after a little research and a day off working I set about testing my conversion skills!

So I took these:

And over the course of the day we ended up with a unit of these:

The painting detail is slightly better off camera! But I was generally pleased with these guys.

Now I know it works I can add some Continental Cavalry and some Hessian mounted Jaegers too.
